HITBSecConf2018 - Amsterdam
The 9th annual HITB Security Conference takes place from the 9th till 13th of April 2018 and features six 3-day technical training courses followed by our 2-day triple track conference, a Capture the Flag competition, technology exhibition with an expanded area covering AI and blockchain related entities, a space for EU hackerspaces, a lock picking village, car hacking and hardware related exhibits plus our CommSec track - a free-to-attend track of 30 and 60 minute talks that we also live stream on Youtube! The Call for Papers for the conference is now open and the first round of accepted speakers will be announced in the first week of January. As always, do follow @HITBSecConf on Twitter for the latest event updates.
With support again from NIXU, a free-to-attend HITB CommSec track with 30 and 60 minutes talks will be held during the 12th and 13th alongside the HITB2018AMS’s CommSec Exhibition Village!
This year we have also partnered with I am the Cavalry to focus 50% of the HITB CommSec track topics on issues that are becoming more and more relevant every day – the security of cars, airplanes, medical devices, critical infrastructure and home automation devices.
I am the Cavalry is a volunteer initiative focused around creating visibility and improving the security of exactly the above mentioned domains. Alongside the CommSec track, there will also be a meetup for I am the Cavalry (and OWASP members) on the evening of Day 1 where you will have the chance to meet and network with fellow speakers and delegates.
Did we mention that access to these track of talks is completely FREE?!
